Hi @legalfalcon I have asked different people on FB groups, I get contradicting info. Please help .

I have applied for study permit, everything got delayed due to covid . Even if I get it now, I don't have time three months notice period. Am working in Infosys. My question is I am working remotely now, as all IT companies in India .

can I complete my notice period while am in Canada. Will it be in violation of my study permit. I don't know whom to ask about the correct law in the scenario.

If your company doesn't have operations in Canada, or serve customers in Canada, you're fine.

You can work remotely in Canada (as long as your employer has no representation in Canada) for as long as you want, and the 20-hour per week rule will not apply to you. Just make sure your employer is happy with the timezone differences etc.
