Hi there,
I worked a company from 2010/11 to 2014/11. At the beginning of the last year of working there, I was offered a PhD position abroad, and I wanted to leave my job. The director wasn't happy with that, but we negotiated it. They accepted to let me work remotely (due to the nature of my job which was data analysis) and I accepted to have reduced payment. We agreed to continue the job for one year in this way to give them time to hire someone else and also to give me time to finish the things that I had to do.
On July 2014 I applied for a visitor visa of Canada, and in the application form I didn't mention my employment for this company because the director refused to colaborate. I didn't care at that time and just decided to avoid information for which I hadn't enough documents (being abroad, it wasn't easy to prepare documents in other way rather than getting from the employee).
On January 2019, I applied for work permit for Canada and following the previous application I didn't mention that employment. Also, on January 2020 when I applied to renew my work permit, I didn't mention that employment again.
Now, I am making a profile for express entry and my CRS score is 418. Having the work exprience from that time can add 50 points and give me fare score. Therefore, I tried my chance and asked a mutual friend to mediate and talk with the director of that company. He did it and now the director is ok to give me the reference letter and payment history. But I am wondering if I can claim this work experince considering the fact that I hadn't mention it before? I am affraid that the officer considers it as a misrepresentation.
