Can I check the applicant status from the sponsor UCI?

I found the status of the applicant by using sponsor's UCI is application and medical check received. Would CIC update applicant status with sponsor's UCI #? I don't have the applicant's UCI, so i really want to know what the current status is. Please help. Thanks!

We were able to check our status with the sponsor's UCI very quickly after our application was received. At some point (though I'm not sure when), it opened up so that we were able to check the status with the applicant's application number as well.

I only have sponse's UCI number, as I don't receive AOR2...I remember applicant's status not there but it's here now with sponse's UCI #. Thanks for your info

On the SA letter there's an application # right under the UCI #. I used that along with the principal applicant's dob etc and only their stuff showed up. If I use the UCI along with sponsor's info then it does me both sponsor and applicant's stuff
