You have heard it right, you can do it at the Canada-US border, you don't require a US visa as practically you are just leaving Canada and coming back without entering US. This will show your exit from Canada and you are re-entering with changed status.

Bring your LMO, Job Contract, $150 and proof of medical completion to the border along with your passport. Walk to US side and ask them to "Flagpole", they will give you an organe slip to bring back to the Canadian side. They should issue you your WP on the spot.

What is the worst that can happen, when you go at the Canada-USA border?

I mean what will be the reason that my WP will be refused, even if I have all documents in order.

I have to say that I am with my wife here in Canada and my question is, if is better for us to be together on the border or me first and than a couple of days later for her.

What is you suggestion.

I am sorry bothering you. The list of legally things that I need to have or do, because I require a visa to come in Canada. Do you know what I need?
Can you help to find out what do I need when I go at the POE to get the WP?

Appreciate every sincere advice.
