IELTS Request
Sent with application
I submitted my application last December 23, 2014. It was complete and I made sure there were no mistakes that could possibly destroy my dream of going to canada. I also passed the IELTS and etc.

But here comes another problem, on my embassy fee form i opted for a credit card payment. My card was supposed to expire on 12/2016. Now my bank just sent me a replacement card wherein they introduced these "chip" cards for added security. My account number hasnt changed but the control number at the back of card is not the same as my old one and so is the expiry date which is 2019 now. They havent notified me of this and I called the bank they said cant do anything about it as my old card is going to deactivate in 30 days and I should use the new one now. Its already in their system. >:(

I am so sad and disappointed knowing the mistake is not on my part. Any advise on what to do or are there experiences from previous applicants that can help me with this?

It's really a dilemma. I am not sure but let's try to get info on contacting cic. Pls which country and which bank as I may be in your shoes. I know that you can contact cic within 10weeks when your application has been received.

Im am residing in the Philippines. I just read some news that apparently the major banks in the country are upgrading their cards as well. It just so happened that mine was already available.

I contacted my agency they told me I cant send documents because I still dont have UCI yet... or applicant registration number. They told me it might get lost in the paper trails or it might not reunite with my principal application documents.

I just hope that CIC would be kind enough to email me and ask for the credit card details or be received in their system before my credit card deactivates... So frustrating as I cant do anything about it.

What's your case btw?

I am also from the Philippines. Is it possible which bank issued your credit card in the Philippines?

Metrobank credit card. Whats your status jeromeeric?

Your agency is wrong.

CIO won't contact you and ask for a new payment. They will just return your file onde CC doesn't goes through.
You will only get your UCI# on the rejection email.

You have to raise a CSE as soon as you can, and send updated forms by mail as well. Follow the instructions on my signature (CSE SS) to do so.

Good luck.

Can you please help me on what to do?

What is CSE?

Do i mail the updated payment form? How can i attach this mail in hope of reuniting it with my old documents? What do I label the envelope when sending these additional documents?
