Hi guys,
I’m thinking to change schools and go from Humber (ON) to Langara(B.C.). Is this allowed without applying for a new Study permit? My Study permit states Institution name as DESIGNATED LEARNING INST-ON.
I called CIC they said it’s allowed as long as I update DLI online. But I’m still not sure because SP clearly says Ontario.
Anyone with similar experience?

It is allowed, you don't need to change SP for post secondary studies as long as it is between DLIs, doesn't matter what name the permit says.

If I may ask why this change from Humber to Langara?

Thank you so much for taking time to reply to my question. I hope you are right! I was confused because I saw messages in other threads saying that change of DLI is only for those who don’t have any specific information under Institution name and/or Field of Study.

I’m a bit disappointed in my current program (it’s very easy), so I applied to another college. I think I’ll enjoy living in Vancouver too :)
All the best to you!
