Hello Seniors,

I applied for CSQ in the month of May 2013 and have received my file number. Currently I work in Montreal but little bit afraid of the french. Is it possible to cancel my application and apply for the CEC. I would be completing my one year in July 2014. Thanks in advance for your suggestions ;D

My suggestion is that you overcome your francophobia. Montreal is awesome.

Seriously though, you can definitely apply for CEC, and your work experience gained in Quebec will count (provided that it meets all the criteria), but you must be prepared with evidence that you will live outside of Quebec, because they will ask for it. Ideally, you would leave Quebec before applying for CEC.

Thanks LPS, I too would like to stay here but have got to know that the Immigration Officer are quite strict about one's knowledge of knowing French. I am not sure how would I be able to answer my interview in French and have no idea of how to prepare for it :'(, could you suggest me the best way of getting prepared for the interview?? Thanks
