I have a conviction for common assault in Alberta. How do I go about checking to see if I can sponsor my fiancee (Soon to be spouse) to come to Canada?

She is a registered Nurse in Turkey so if my criminal record prevents me fropm sponsoring her could she still apply through Express Entry?

It was my ex wife 10 years ago. Literally from taking a cell phone from her hand.

Unfortunately that most likely disqualifies you from sponsoring. You might want to double check with a lawyer.

Your partner can certainly apply for Express Entry as an alternative.
