Hello Members, I have created my EE profile in 2019 and my CRS is 368. Since then I have been working on my score as everyone was saying that I should work on IELTS to improve my CRS. I am tired with the IELTS now with 3 exam and 2 rechecks (both failed) 1) LRWS-8 8 6.5 8 2) LRWS - 9 7.5 6.5 7.5 3)LRWS - 9 7.5 6.5 6.5. I am just a bachelor and my CRS is at 368 right now. I am from India and have 7.5 years of exp in IT Software development. I am thinking that on this score I do not see any ITA coming my way. I was thinking can I apply for master's degree and then when I complete my master's I can apply with a Canadian degree and Canadian experience (which I will take during my master's) in express entry. Is it a feasible path? or they will reject me as I also have a EE profile and they might think that this person just wants to get into Canada at any cost and might not return ever? on the other hand what are some other ways I can increase my CRS? Is there any suggestion regarding how to secure a job from India.

Yes you can apply for a study permit. it is difficult to get a job offer. Canadian work experience doesn’t count during your studies, only after you graduate.

Under Canadian Law, each application is evaluated and processed on it own merit. Having a pending PR application when a TRV is submitted does not impact the TRV, which will be processed as per its own requirements. Subsection A22(2) states: “An intention by a foreign national to become a permanent resident does not preclude them from becoming a temporary resident if the officer is satisfied that they will leave Canada by the end of the period authorized for their stay”. Dual intent on the part of the applicant is therefore not prima facie grounds for refusal of temporary resident status.
