I was cut-off from the quota last year and i would like to try again... my agency told me to send 1 application for provincial nominee in manitoba and 1 application as skilled worker so that we would just take whichever comes first... is it really ok to submit 2 applications for different types at the same time? i'm so confused. :[

Yes, Belinda, you can have 2 applications at same time. No problem. Provincial Nominee applications and Federal worker at same time is fine. Whichever, application gets processed first, go for that one. Try to hire a good consultant because there's a lot of paperwork involved. Better yet, do it yourself, if you have the time. Yes you can apply for both.

Make sure though that in your federal skilled worker you write your intended place to land as Manitoba so that it won't clash with the other application. With FSW even if you have written Manitoba you can land anywhere once you get the visa. It is not compulsary but desirable.

Having 2 applications, will cost you money and time. If you are willing than Best of Luck!!!!
