Can i apply for open work permit after receiving AOR

Morning fellow members,

I am in a situation where I applied for bonded work permit in 30th November and my current work permit got expired in 18th December. I received invitation to apply and did my upfront medical and all other documents and submitted the pr application. I received my AOR in 14th of January 2020.

Currently, I am waiting for my employer to pay the employer compliance fee as they has having little hard time.
Once I get my employer number from my employee, I will submit it to my BOWP application.

So, this is my scenario, and my question is
1) Is it a good to attach the copy of AOR and submit it to my current BOWP application which is in process?
2) Am i eligible to apply for open work permit after receiving AOR, even though my BOWP is still in process (hopefully my employer does the employer compliance fees faster)?
3) what will happen if the employer takes longer time to do the employer compliance fee before the decision is made?

I'm not sure what you mean by a bonded work permit. Do you mean a closed work permit?

You don't qualify for a BOWP at this time. You must be holding a valid work permit at the time you apply for a BOWP.

Yes, Bonded Work permit, which I applied already before my work permit expired.. waiting for their decision on it.

As scylla said, you don't qualify for a BOWP. You have Implied Status, not a valid work permit.

True, i am on implied status.
So, right now, i received my AOR. and currently waiting for my employer to pay employer compliance fee
Any suggestion on what options i have or what might happen next

No options right now but to wait. The current app will either be refused or approved.
