If you are on a skilled permit, you can apply right away as FSW if you make 67 points.

If you want to try to apply through PNP with employers sponsorship, check if you qualify in your province, wait for new work permit, ask for new employer to help you apply.

If you want to apply through CEC, you need to wait another 7 months.

Not sure about the sponsorship question.

thanks leon!

if ill choose to apply as FSW can i do it right away even if i still dont have my new work permit? and yes youre right im under skilled workers class. what are my chances? i got a 70+ score in the assessment so i think i can apply as FSW right? thanks

Even though you were terminated, your work permit is still valid and you have been in Canada for more than a year so I am sure you can apply for FSW right now but you should call CIC to make sure. At least you can start working on your application while you wait for your new work permit.

isnt it that the immigration will investigate and verify all the documents i sent in? when will they start doing that say ill send my documents today? what if they call my employer and he tells them that im no longer with the company? am i doomed? will they cancel my application or ask me to make or send them an explanation? thanks guys

It doesn't say that you have to be currently working. The requirement is: "you are a foreign national who has been living legally in Canada for one year as a temporary foreign worker or an international student,"

You can even tell them that you have been terminated from your job and are currently waiting for an LMO for a new job.

wow! awesome! thanks a lot leon! you made my day brighter again! take care sir!
