What is the risk of rejection if I apply for my mother's visitor visa?

  • Mom and I are Indian CItizens but currently in the USA. (Can give biometrics in the US)
  • I applied for SOWP for my wife today from the USA.
  • I have received a study VISA and currently studying online from the USA and planning to travel to Canada in April 2021
  • She lost her husband(My father) in Jan 2021, and all his FD in India just transferred to her account.
  • She has no one in India and needs to travel with me to Canada.
  • She can apply for Super VISA once we are in Canada.
Please suggest if we can apply for my mom's visitor visa based on my current situation?
Will there be a rejection for the sudden influx of funds to her name?
Will there be a rejection since I am currently not in Canada?

I really appreciate any help you can provide.

As a student, she is not eligible for a supervisa. Risk of visa rejection is high as she doesn’t live in her home country and doesn’t seem to have ties there. She would need written authorization to enter Canada too. Sudden influx fo funds = red flags. Plus you don’t even live in Canada yet to study so applying before you move seems like she is trying move with you.

Agree that her chances of approval are not great and she would need special authorization to enter at the moment. Your plan seems to be to have your mother move with you from the US to Canada. Even if she got a TRV she would be a temporary visitor and would not be able to remain in Canada longterm. Being widowed does not mean that she will be able to remain in Canada longterm so you need to have another plan..
