I had some general questions regarding timelines for applying for Canadian Immigration under the CEC stream.
Quick rundown of my situation:
1) Came to Canada as an international student in 2011
2) Finished undergrad in Engineering in 2016
3) Started working full-time on a post grad permit from May 30, 2016*
4) I got my language results earlier this week
*I switched jobs in January of this year, but there was no gap i.e. I finished on a Friday, and then started working the following Monday.
So, I was wondering if I can expedite my process by creating and submitting the Express Entry profile now with the 1 year experience. Then I can get the ITA (fingers-crossed) sometime early June.
So here's my question - do they evaluate your experience from the day you submit your profile, or after the ITA is sent out? Or, do I have to wait until the end of this month before I can submit my profile?
Moreover, can I get the medical and police clearance certificates now (before I receive the ITA)? Do you need any other documents that can slow down the process?
Thanks in advance for all your help!
