Can i apply for Citizenship and leave Canada to come back for Tests/Oath

Hi,

I was wondering if someone has to leave Canada after completing residence requirements to become a citizen, can he do that or physical presence is required until citizen process is complete?. He would file citizenship application and leave Canada to come back and take the test/oath when it is due. Any problems in doing that?

Yes you can do that.Make sure some one checks your mailing address and keep you posted of any developments from the CIC regarding your Citizenship application....Good luck
