I work for an oil company that transferred me to Calgary, Canada for 3 months but i love it here. I have an engineering degree from a college in the United States. Is it possible to get permanent residency with only 3 months of experience in Canada?

As LPC already said, with only 3 months of experience you don't qualify under the CEC class.

Complete the Come to Canada wizard and see if you qualify under a different class.
