Can I apply as Freshman to the same university for fall if I am accepted for the summer session earl

Hello,
What if I am accepted to a canadian university for the summer intake but I wanted to get into the university for the fall intake? That would ensure me some entrance scholarships which are not provided for the summer intake. But now that I have applied for the summer intake what can I do to get entrance for the september intake as that would allow me to apply for tje entrance scholarships?
