I got refusa letter from CIC visa office recently. Consulor had helped us writting a letter to VISA office to try to pursuade them change their mind because they didn't comply with the procesure when they refused us.
However since the letter sent out, 2 weeks passed, there is no response from CIC visa office at all. To be safe, before the 30 days expire for filing the appeal, I think it is better to file an appeal to IAD (immigration Appeal Division). In case the VISA office doesn't change their mind, I still have a chance to get hearing from IAD.
The appeal cost is very high. $2,000 to $5,000.
My question is: can I file the appeal to IAD by myself and what is the process? Thank you so much!
