Can he come for our wedding?

Hello I am a Canadian living in Chicago. My husband is American we just went through all the green card process, however I want to change plans and move to Canada. If I apply for my husband (legally married in a court for our US visa) to come to Canada will he be able to travel to Canada in June for our big wedding??
