CAN EMBASSY ACCEPT SOFT COPY OF NEW START DATE LETTER?

Hello House,
I have completed my further medical test on 27th oct.2011 and I have already returned my passport to the embassy. I once requested new start date letter from the school,when I missed the july,2011 intake,but the school told me to wait till embassy request for new start date. Now,I contacted the embassy since I have completed my further medical test,asking them if I can go ahead to request a new start date from the school. The embassy has given me a go ahead to request new start date,but the problem is,it will take about a month for hard copy to get to me thru regular post and 3 days via courier,but school said I need to transfer courier fee to them,which will also take extra days to get to them.
I want to know if embassy can accept a print out of the soft copy of my new start date letter,to avoid delay. If someone has submitted soft copy without any problem,please let me knw so that i can submit mine to the embassy as soon as possible.
Note: i have asked the embassy this question,but no response. They wont pick calls and they wont respond to e-mail swiftly. Pls. I need urgent advice.

Hi,

Yes, you can fax your letter of deferral/New start date letter.

I followed the same process in my own case. Infact, CHC advised me to send a letter of deferral via fax. CHC need only "factual information" to verify your candidature. It doesn't matter if you send it by way of fax/mail/email etc.
