Can senior members please answer this question?
When I applied to Nova Scotia, I included my wife and children as non accopanying dependants. Now I changed my mind, would like to include them as accompanying dependants when applying to visa office. (I already got a reference number from Nova Scotia, paid processing fee only for me initialy). My question is:

Can I include them as accompanying dependants while applying to visa office, by paying the additional processing fee and showing the proof of funds to support them? Or is it necessary to start the application process allover again by withdrawing the application from Nova Scotia and applying again?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, u can add them now.

See http://www.cic.gc.ca/EnGLIsh/resources/manuals/op/op06-eng.pdf page 13.

Family members can be added to the application at any time during the process, including after the visa is
issued but prior to obtaining permanent resident status. Applicants should be counselled to inform the visa
office immediately if their family composition has changed. Please see OP 2 Section 7.7 for more
information on adding a family member during processing.

To include adopted children, spouses, or common-law partners as accompanying family members, R4
requires that the relationship must be genuine and not one entered into primarily for immigration purposes.

If additional family members are added to the application during processing, medical and security clearance
must be obtained for each family member before a final decision is made.
