I'm enquiring if I can invite my sister to visit me in Canada. I'm current in my second year of study here in Canada and would require her to help out with my kids cause I have in person classes at night this coming summer term. Thanks for your advice.

She applies on her own . Has to show finances , travel history & ties to her country that she’ll return . You can invite her , but the onus is on her to back up her visa application. Your invite is an extremely small part of the process .
FYI- “ Helping with your kids “, is illegal work . People get paid too do that .
What you want her to do is work illegally in Canada. She needs to show her own funds, travel history, ties to home country (job offer with approved leave) and legitimate reasons to travel.
