Since Afghanistan is a backward country where a woman can't work outside I decide to find visa of Canada to go there with my family and start a better life. I am graduated from high school and currently studying at the American University of Afghanistan. me and my family are in danger of dying everyday and every second. I would reaaly appreciate if any one could help me getting a visa of Canada to safe my life and my family's life and reach my goals.
Can Afghan residents also get some type of visa?

You are amazing to continue your schooling and give your family a better future. When you say family, I assume you mean spouse and children. You have a few options.

- Apply to Canadian universities or colleges, get accepted and then apply for a study permit and visitor visas for your family to come to Canada. This is expensive as you have to pay first year tuition and show a minimum of $10,000 Cdn (for one person).
- The other option is claiming refugee status. You and your family need approved visitor visas. You travel to Canada (you can’t right now because of Covid) and then claim refugee status at the airport. Or you leave Afghanistan, and register with UNHCR in another country. You have no choice where you would be settled.
- Private sponsorship - find a group of 5 to sponsor you to come to Canada.
