Please I need some clarifications, am about to apply for MSc Enviromental science at UNBC and wrote to potential supervisor whose research areas resonates with mine. She wrote back and told me that her slot is occupied but refered me to another supervisor in another department who has the same research topic as mine. Now I wrote to the professor I was refered to and he said he replied that is not enlisted as potential supervisor in my department but when I come over we can work together.
So I want to be sure if is possible to work with supervisor from another department. Whether it can help facilitate the admission. I intend writing to graduate school about it but wants to hear views of my seniors in this forum. Thanks in advance. Please is urgent.
