Is it possible for a protected person to apply for PR through another regular immigration stream (like PNP, Express Entry or EMPP for example) but NOT as a protected person?
If this is possible, would this be a faster route than applying for PR as a protected person?
Getting PR as a protected person could take at least 2.5 years and quite possibly more than 3 years considering the current backlog. For a family to be reunited with the protected person, it may take up to 4 years or even more, on top of the time spent waiting for getting the protected person status
