Can a property purchase in Toronto create a problem for POF in PR processing

Hey Guyz,

We sent all our documents including proof of funds to Buffalo Visa office in Jan 2011. Just 1-2 months back we purchased a property in Toronto.

Now till the date (i.e. for last 1 year) we have not heard back anything from Buffalo visa office on our PR processing.

The question I have is , would our property purchase create problems in the assessment of proof of funds in Buffalo visa office

Very recent property purchase will be affect our proof of funds assessment in our PR case processing and will it affect the PR case decision ???


Please help... I am very much confused and tensed about it after reading different stories on this forum...

Dear Apire,

There is no relation between your property in Toronto and your application, you can have property anywhere you like( regarding country rules). You need to have transferable funds according to your family size in case VO asks you to furnish POF again. Your property won't do any good in this case. Property in Toronto can not substitute the POF requirement of tranferable funds.
