Hi,

my nephew along with my parents are here on a visitor visa.
My sister and brother in law are not physically present in Canada.
My nephew really likes it here and would like to stay here and study for a while.
he is 10 years old.

I am a permanent resident of canada. is there anyway he could stay here and study for a while. I dont mind paying the school feed.

Any help will be totally appreciated.

I checked online and there is a condition where a minor could study incase both parents are not physically present in Canada.

Thanks,
EK

1. I don't no where you found "condition where a minor could study incase both parents are not physically present in Canada." as CIC says: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/minors-documents.asp

Minor children who are already in Canada accompanying a parent who is permitted to study or work may study in Canada without a study permit at the pre-school, primary and secondary levels.

A minor child of a parent who is not authorized to work or study in Canada (for example, their parent is authorized as a visitor) is not eligible to study in Canada without a study permit. These minor children must apply for a study permit from their country of last permanent residence.

2. The child's parents aren't in Canada with a study/work permit, therefor your nephew is not eligible.
