call from service canada while cec applicant is in process

hello everyone, i have searched the forum but could not find my answer.
Today, my employer got a call from service canada and they were asking him to provide some pay stubs, business licence, work sheets and wcb letter within next 30 days.
On mycic, my background is in progress from 7th oct.
is this call somehow related to my application with cic??
plz give your views guys.

To me it sounds like a call for compliance review, as in that your employer applied for (at least one) more LMIAs.
What work sheets did they ask for?
 
work sheet is the sheet in which employer put jobs duties and job location and dates for every single day

No, this is about a past LMIA...

Me and mine employer got a call about 2 weeks ago, they didnt request anything but yha they enquire everthing about my job ,salary ,work hours my duites n all, and got a ghost email same day but from that day to today nothing happened ..

They also told my employer about my old lmo number. So, why are they auditing my employer for my old lmo??

they ask for june july 2015 paystubs and worksheets.

yes its because may be your employer applied for new LMIA's, so sometime service Canada do review check and ask's for currently working employees documents like pay stubs and all...
