Call for interview

Can anyone please share with me how much notice you had before called to an interview? When they call do they tell you its in a week, two weeks etc? How far is the date usually from the call?

The letter we received from Cic -Edmonton for an interview was dated Aug. 28, 2013
We received it by mail Aug. 30, 2013
Our interview was Sept. 12, 2013

It depends which VO you are dealing with.

Some give a month's notice, some give less than 1 week's notice.

Hi guys , does anybody knows how long does it takes them to set a date for an interview ?? I been waiting since july and havent hear from them ...
