Topic is here: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/how-to-get-police-clearance-in-calgary-for-pr-t89425.0.html

Hope it helps.

Hey do the finger print thing, do not go to calgary police office.
When I did my background check here I initially went to RCMP asked for the paper proof and paid 30? bucks. but it's useless and waste of time.
Then I checked online that we should do the electronic version of figure print. I went to the one in downtown (beside the place that issues US Visa). cost 70?
they will take a photo for you and send to CIC directly with your figure print check.

THANKS
I did it yesterday at Commissionaires (53 Ave NE). They took electronic fingerprints, photo and sent everything to RSMP for police check. The RCMP sends completed police check with fingerprints to CIC directly. Paid $55. Took me 10 min.

anyone knows if I have to wait until I get AOR from CIC first then do the criminal record check or is better to submit with the application?

i think the best thing to do is to submit it with the application to be on a safer side and to avoid delays on application processing
