My virtual oath ceremony is coming Tuesday August 30th.
1)I am planning to sign the Oath or Affirmation of Citizenship form on paper. Can anybody share the correct steps.
After signing the form, then I download Camscanner to scan the form to PDF or JPG ?? Then attach to email and send back to them.
2)Can anybody share the timeline in Calgary office. How long did you wait for the citizenship cert to arrive? I am in Red Deer. Also I would like to speed up the process, what solid reason I can give them during the oath interview? Should I have my flight ticket ready to proof that I have travel plan? I have young children waiting for me in my home country, I didn't bring them back with me this time as the process of applying visitor visa for them can take up to 2-3 months.
Background info: I was in home country in the past year, and had twins. I received the oath invitation 29th July. Since the flight ticket is so expensive, and I am unable to travel with twins, so just flight back to Canada myself to take the virtual oath next week. So I really would like to speed up the process so I can go back to my children.
3)Also, if anybody can share your experience of applying passport in Calgary. Do I need to proof my travel plan like having a flight ticket? So I can get my passport in 2-3 days? or within 7 days?
