caips r infact notes entered by ur visa officer on ur file. Yes they r very useful. Try www.caipsnotrs.com, I used it four times and always received my notes in stipulated time. Caips r released by canadian govt under acces to privacy act under which applicants hv right to know what is going on with their app

Further to what our friend PK09 advised.... its worth visiting in the following thread posted by our H'able CAPTAIN to have a comprehensive idea about the CAIPS and the choices one might have to order CAIPS....

Yes, Caips notes are very good. my file has been delayed and when i ordered Caips notes, i found out, that the visa officer made so many mistakes in the processing of my application. Maybe without Caips i will never know what is happening.

I am even planning to order 2nd Caips. This is because my e.cas has never been updated.

I hav used www.lawpoint.ca , they delivered it to me in 36 days.

I will reapply for CAIPS in December 2011; probably it would be changed to GCMS by then.
