CAIPS notes

Apparently our CAIPS notes have finally arrived to our lawyer's office- FOUR MONTHS after being requested. Some sections are blacked out. Is this normal?

As far as I know when its blacked out , its confidential and restricted for the client to see. I know when I ordered mine that was one note on it that nothing needed to be restricted from viewing. So this would be my best educated guesd, perhaps someone else can offer an opinion or knowledge on this.

Can you order your CAIPS not from CPC MISSISUAGA, after having DECISION MADE?

You can order them after your file has been transfered to your visa office and procesding has begun. Before that CAIPS wont really exist as they are for overseas visa offices. You could order your FOSS notes and they would tell you, abt the sponsor's info but thats uselesd.

You only need them if your file is being delayed, you get called for an interview or if you get rejected PR, you need them to go to federal court.
