Hi,

I had applied for my spouse's sponsorship 5 months ago, and my file is under process at CIC New Delhi. As I haven't heard from them for almost 2-3 months I requested for CAIPS notes.

Yesterday, I received my CAIPS notes request. There is one comment which I am not able to figure it out. Could anyone please reply what the think about this comment:

Comment(s): PPT X 1 XXXXX(Passport Number) HANDED OVER TO XXXX (Seems like Visa Officer nuber) WITHOUT FILE SINCE CURRENT PF SHOWS "FCU-FCR" (CA OF THE MONTH). ???

What does it mean? Also what's the full form of PF, FCU-FCR ?

Your inputs will be highly appreciated.

Stuck ???

Quite strange... 68 people has visited this link but no one was able to write a single word on this :o

Not so strange. Just means no one has anything insightful to tell you. :) I don't either, but good luck!

I just tried immipedia.com and can not find anything to help you...

Try to send PM to seniors here like rjessome, Leon, PMM, canadianwoman, Robslove etc they might be able to help.

Cheers,

Sorry, I am as mystified as everyone else.
"PF3" means "Family Class New Delhi", so maybe the "PF" just means your file.
"CR" could mean "criminal record", but with an "F" in front of it, I don't know. Even if it is "Found Criminal Record", why would they then not be giving the file to ____?

Hey Canadian ... my CAIPS also came back a few months ago and one of the notes in the file says:

"POV sent"

Do you know what that means?

Hi Canadianwoman,

Thank you for your comments. I agree you are saying it could be, but we (Myself & Spouse) don't have any criminal records. Not sure what does this FCR actually means... :o

Do you have any unaccompanying dependents?

Sorry, I meant Stuck.

Stuck: PF probably means "paper file".
FC often means "family class" but I don't know if it does here.

I found it. POV means "Promise of Visa" letter. If you didn't receive any such letter, it must have got lost in the mail. Here's a link:
