Hello, my ecas status says my PR application has been transferred from the Buffalo VO to the NY VO as of November 16, 2011.
I definitely saw this as progress, as there was no physical sign of anything other than a change to "In Progress" on the initial ecas page back in January/February this year.
In any case, I requested CAIPS notes a few weeks back, pretty sure it was before November 16 and received the CAIPS notes last week with a date time stamp of Nov. 23, 2011. A few questions I'm hoping others may be able to help me with:
1. Is there a specific order to the CAIPS notes? It looks as if my CAIPS notes is 4 pages, front and back, of screen prints from a mainframe, DOS window or something.
2. My CAIPS notes say: Paper file sent to PA -- File BFD to PPS on 01-02-2012
Is the BFD date normally accurate or is that like a "this is the latest date" an immigration officer will look at this?
3. eCase says my PR app was transferred to NY VO Nov 16. Should there also be a line on CAIPS notes stating that? I see a similar line here that says "FILE TRANSFERRED TO BUFFALO"
4. Has anyone ever requested CAIPS notes multiple times? Is that a standard practice for anyone else awaiting anxiously like I am?
5. From my CAIPS notes, it looks like I initially applied under FSW2, but from the notes, it says my NOC Code 2171 was ineligible for processing as per the Minister's Instructions. The next note then says "Sufficient Evidence has NOT been provided for SW2", but they assessed that I was eligible for FSW3. Would this insufficient evidence for FSW2 only be related to arranged employment? If this is the case, I'm worried this may affect my point assessment and the immigration officer will not see that I am currently employed as a permanent full-time employee. I believe I sent them my employment offer, salary, work history from my company's records.
Any help with any of the above queries would be of great assistance. Much appreciated!
