Hi all,

I ordered the CAIPS notes on my fiance's rejection almost three months ago and, finally, received a letter today.

Unfortunately, the letter was accompanied by a CD. I did not request a CD, I requested a copy of all records.

More unfortunate yet, the CD arrived badly damaged and unusable.

I've already emailed the ATIP Administrator who signed the letter informing her that I did not request a CD, that the CD I did receive was damaged and asked if, per her letter, I needed to file a complaint to the Information Commissioner to have this dealt with further.

Hopefully no one else has had this happen, but if you have could you kindly advise.

that's horrible. I got my husbands CAIPS notes today .. paper (thank goodness).

I hope you get a quick copy. I'm assuming they would keep them on file?

I see there's an interview scheduled for next week - I'm glad you received the notes in time. Good luck!

I am dreadfully sorry to hear that the contents were damaged and I trust that your complaints were channelled to the right department for rectification. FYI it is better to request electronic copies for all intensive purposes.

That sucks!!

We requested ours sent by email(electronic), and they sent it by CD as well, so it took 15 days longer to arrive!!
Our CD was a bit scratched too, my computer wouldn't read it, but I was able to open the file on my Mom's computer.

Such a headache!

Who did you order it from? The reason I ask is that I particular experience in dealing with these sort of cases with Pinoy clients applying to Canada. If you need anything let me know.

Why not get them emailed that way they will not get damaged and you can print them out at your own time..
