Hi guys

do we need to attach the CA statement for our properties in our home country or mentioning it in the SOP should be good enough?

problem is we have property in village and it would be a pain to go for a CA evaluation..also the property is not costly...

should we only attach the documents that are mentioned in the checklist for SPP or we should attach other documents as well?

thanks.

@dbss yes you need to put the CA statement if you want to show the property. writing in SOP without some documentation proof wont help

Don't attach any extra documents. Just stick to checklist. :)

It is specifically written in application form to not to attach any extra documents unless asked by VO.

Best of Luck.

that is the problem...the checklist specifically mentions not to add additional documents which makes the onus on us to show the ties...in that case the only thing that is left SOP

Another question I have is about GIC:

I am currently in Canada on PGWP and will be paying for the GIC of my sister who wants to come to study:

Can I deposit the GIC of $10k straight from Canada or it has to be sent to India first and then moved to Canada?

GIC money can not be deposited from your account. It has to come from account held in name of your sister only. It is specifically mentioned in GIC guide.

Thanks everybody.

another question:

do we need to attach the pay slips and affidavits of the sponsors for SPP checklist...it does not mention it anywhere but kinda feels necessary. Also do we need to show some balance apart from GIC and paying fee.

plus I am in Canada and I am sponsoring for my sister's education being on PGWP...how do you think we should approach this because as for family ties only my Mom will be left if my sister gets the visa.

Also what all documents should we submit apart from the checklist?

only attach SOP apart from the checklist.....no other document should be attached...it'll slow down the processing...it is clearly mentioned on the SPP checklist doc.
