when i applied for a 5-day visit visa to see my gf from london i did not put detailed job history(i did 5 jobs in last 5 years and i put only three of them--- i dont know why i did that stupid mistake) and by mistake i put wrong date of birth (i put march insead of february) of my mother. however my application was rejected because they thought i had an intention not to leave canada. now i have already applied for spouse sponsorship. my question is , will there be any problem regarding to these above mentioned mistakes?

someone please give me an answer, please

is there anybody who can answer my worries? please!!!! thanks in advance

Obviously, if you already applied and the information does not match up and you didn't explain it then, it's too late to do anything about it now. You may be required to explain the differences by way of an interview, especially if the IO has other concerns regarding the truthfulness of any other information, or if they question the genuineness of your marriage.

Other than that, it may be dismissed as minor and nothing comes of it.

Only the IO processing your case can say whether or not you should be worried. In the meantime, there is nothing you can do about it, so worrying is useless and counter-productive. If you worry, and nothing comes of it, you wasted all that emotional energy. If you worry, and you have to explain it, then you wasted time worrying when you should have been preparing to answer for the mistakes. Either way, worrying gets you nowhere.

thanks for your reply and advice. someone told me that they dont keep the detailed information on forms for a refused visit visa application. anyways as long as my relationship is genuine i should not be worried, thanks to you again for the reply

You can also send the VO a letter correcting your mistakes and explaining them. We found out a few more bits of information about my husband's family members after we sent in our application - we just sent another letter adding the new information in. I think its better to be pro-active and send them the new information right away, BEFORE they ask you about it

Kaycee is right...if you have your file number from your IO already, you may want to send the correct information.

thank u guys. i will send them as soon as it reaches my VO

but in my current application everything is correct 100%. but few small mistakes i made for my visit visa last year application forms(that got rejected). how can i fix that now? do they keep the detailed information of the forms even the visit visa got refused?

Yes, they will have access to all that information, any previous visas. You should still send a letter explaining the differences. Better to be up front instead of them thinking you are trying to hide something.

The problem is CIC does not keep all records of visitor visa applications, so they may well have no records showing your detailed job history on the TRV application. Since it was only last year, though, you can't be sure they don't still have it. I know on my husband's CAIPS and FOSS notes, for example, they had only a very limited amount of info from his TRV applications - certainly not everything he submitted on the applications.
So I would say don't mention it now. Be prepared with an explanation if the visa officer asks you about it at interview - saying you just mixed up the birth date will be fine, especially since that would make no difference to the application. Explaining that you didn't mention two of your jobs on the TRV app because they were only temporary might be enough.
I think, however, that the visa officer will not know about it.

Not true. They do keep at least an electronic copy of the application or on micro fiche. Whether or not they will check it is another story. CAIPS and FOSS don't record everything that is written on the application forms.
