Business Visa- Can I visit otehr city , immigration check for internal flights

Hi,

I am travelling on business visa to Edmonton for 20+ days from India. In my Employee Invite letter it is mentioned that

XYZ seeks to enter Edmonton from ... to .... for purpose of participating in business ,meetings ...

During my assignment I have plan to take Thursday /Friday as off and thus wanted to check if I can travel on Thursday to Monday to Vancouver for visiting few places by Flight and return back on Monday

Or this will create an issue as I need to go through immigration again at airport and my Employee invite letter does not mention anything about Vancouver

This won't be an issue. There are no checks on internal flights.
