I have a Canadian PR through express entry but never moved to Canada. I couldn't find a appropriate job to move to Canada and now I am now planning to buy a Pizza franchise and move to Canada but I only have 15 Months left on my PR. I understand I cannot renew my PR if I didn't stay for 2 years in the last 5 year period. Can you all please advise what are my options to renew my PR? I really don't want to miss out on my chance to move to Canada. Any advise is greatly appreciated.

Move to Canada as soon as possible. Hope you are not reported at the border for failing to meet the residency obligation. Stay in Canada for 2 straight years without leaving.
How would I get extension of my status to legally stay in Canada after my PR is expired?
You don't get an extension. You simply stay in Canada without leaving. Once you reach 2 years of residency in Canada, you apply for a new PR card.
