CIO NS received my application on May 28, 2009. Currently I am still on waiting mode. I haven`t seen any communication email or mail from Sydney NS so help me with this....

To those who received AOR from Sydney, is there an instruction on where to send your complete applicationÉ (I bet there is) If YES, Do we really need to follow that or I can send it to my mother landÉ The thing is I`ve been here in Canada for almost three years now and I even requested buffalo to handle my application. Now, I`ve learned that Buffalo is not doing good especially in Arrange employment and Fast track so there is an hesitation with me to submit it on other place.

Any input will greatly appreciated! Thanks!

If you have requested in your application Buffalo visa office and you have been living in canada for the last three years they will definitely instruct you to send your application to Buffalo, by the time you receive your confirmation for sending copy of your application with all of the supporting documents to Buffalo, your application will have been electronically transfered to Buffalo visa office by the CIO and they will start processing your application according to the electronic submission after the authorized period of 120 days even if you haven't sent them anything.

Therefore, you have no any other choice because it is not easy to ask for transfering your file to another visa office if you don't have a serious reasons for that such as; leaving canada permenantly or getting refused for a visa to attend an interview in Buffalo from the usa embassy in canada.

" Once it is found that the applicant satisfies the Ministerial Instructions, the CIO will record this
assessment in CAIPS and the electronic file will be transferred to the visa office."

The second source :

"At the beginning of each week, CIO electronically transfers all the applications recommended for processing the previous week to the appropriate visa offices. The CIO will send an email to the receiving office's email address once the file transfer is complete. Given the volume of cases, it may take the CIO several days to complete all of its file transfers.

Once the file is transferred, the file is removed from the CIO's IMMIG database and becomes a miscellaneous (MISC) record at the CIO.

CIO will check the status of the file transfers by checking their night job logs (report BATFTX.LPT)"

"PROCEDURES AT THE VISA OFFICE:

The files e-transferred from the CIO appear in the visa office's night job report (BATFTM.LPT). Visa offices should verify that the night job report against the list of files provided by the CIO. Please note that the transferred files may appear at the visa office as late as Wednesday due to time zone differences.

The transferred files now form part of the IMMIG database in the receiving mission. Since they were transferred from the CIO with PSDEC 4, they are considered “closed” files and remain closed (with PSDEC=4) until the file is re-numbered or re-opened at the visa office."
