Anybody in the forum got any updates on their file status from Ottawa?

There is no news update regarding the Buffalo to Ottawa in the CIC website too..They are keeping absolute silence.

I am on very odd situation rite now..
I am in USA and my visa expiring in 3 months...

And no updates from Ottawa office.....

I think none of us heard anything from there yet

My ecas status is showing the same thing. However, they haven't emailed me the new address where I can send the additional requirements that they have asked for.

Hi everyone,

I talked to my local MP here in Canada, and he's like, we need to wait at least 60 days, most probably in August-2012 we will start getting any news from Ottawa.

Hope for the best and pray for each other.

The only update in my ecas after the buffalo-ottawa transfer is I can see my 'Address' added.

Thanks Nadeem for the update!! I saw from a member that his ecas was updated with 'File transferred to Ottawa'. Not sure if CIC would update all such transferred applications!!

we should wait for 60 days from 29th may 2012 to get some information from Ottawa

Hi Guys

My medicals were sent to Ottawa First week of March 2012
late March I was asked by buffalo office for address , job , address update ,NOC etc all done and sent to Buffallo last week of April 012.
E case Still in process for long time , nothing updated on my e case yet, nothing came back from Buffalo or Ottawa yet even no note of file transfer from buffalo or ottawa.

Any one has similar experience or knows an explanation ?

I believe they are actually sorting out all the files that Buffalo has trying to fix the mess and after the 60 days they are capable of answering questions and move forward

if you look at it this way its quite smart to not answer anything within the 60 days

hopefully everything will get moving Aug 1

Just applied a couple months ago, got PER but no other message since then. Ecas status just shows that application was received (CIO-Sydney). Really hoping that Ottawa is going to break away from the bad history of Buffalo.
