Guys, I have read in few other forums that buffalo is making active efforts of speeding up the application process probably by distributing files to other visa offices in USA and other such ways. Is that true? has anyone in this forum noticed change in their speed of processing? any inputs?? just curious!

They have always shifted files to the other offices in the US. No change.

Buffalo always had 4 reverse gears and 1 forward gear. The forward gear slips due to faulty bearing and had not been replaced. Reverse are working fine.

Hi Den2Can,

The way they process the applications is the same such as; transfering some files to other local offices in the united states, and keeping some others in Buffalo.

However, there is a change in their policy which is the time frame to take an action on the applications received at their office. Since the new system has been put in effect, Buffalo was not even touching or transfering any FSW application before almost 12 months(plus/minus)from the date of receipt at their office (except doing the intial paper screening to make sure that there is no missing information or forms in the application). Now they do so within 2 and 3 months from the date of receipt.

Therefore, the answer is yes, Buffalo is starting moving faster, and it is a good sign regarding the time taken at this visa office and yes, your guess about the improvement in their speed is right. (and my case is a clear example of what you just said).

Have a look at my timeline here to see the improvement on Buffalo processing time:

This is another case as a proof of the improvement in Buffalo timeline, have a look at the timeline of this member in his signature( he got his medical request few days ago) his AOR date is Feb 2010:

Wish you the best of luck.

Well said Den2Can ;), Buffalo has indeed transferred a bunch of files to other CHC offices over USA but with no such positive results except a handful of applicants getting some communication.

So, they need to get their faulty forward gear repaired as soon as possible!
