My husband's application is currently in process. Bucharest visa office emailed me stating that they need more documentary proof of my intentions to live in Canada. Anyone has or had the same experience

many people get this request when the sponsor is not currently living in canada. it is not unique to you or your visa office. CIC wants to see a clear plan for your settlement and that it is unlikely you will apply for welfare upon your return. you do not need to have things set in stone. a clearly written plan that makes sense, letters of support from family canada who will help while you get on your feet (if available), proof of savings (if any), and research done on areas/industries/jobs/housing is what they are looking for.
