Hello there,
My immigrant visa has arrived (here in Philippines) and I will not make it to the last semester of my BSN degree. May I know what can I do so that I can continue my BSN degree in Canada?

No you would likely have to restart your nursing education. I would suggest completing your education even if you have to land in Canada and return to go back to school.

What if decided to continue my last semester for BSN (here in Philippines) but my PR Visa got expired. Will I still be able to process it again?

-Thank you

You have to reapply from scratch.

It's possible some schools in Canada will accept transfer credits from your current school. It's really impossible for any of us to say either way. You will need to contact schools in Canada with BSN programs to ask if they recognize your school and will accept any transfer credits.

Based on my experience none of the healthcare programs in Canada usually accept transfer credits from equivalent programs except maybe from the US. Canada is in need of nurses so there may be more flexibility but finishing the last semester in another program is very difficult in general. If it was general courses at the beginning of the program that may be different.

You could land and return home if your COPR expired by a certain date. You only need to be in Canada for 2 out of 5 years.
