'Bryanna or any expert here' Your help needed with TRV refusal

Dear Bryanna and other experts,
In April 2017, I've applied to appear in a conference hosted in Montreal. The conference was a flagship event related to my field and experts from all over the world was invited to attend. I attached a letter from my supervisor which also mentioned that my trip will be solely sponsored by the employer (my company is one of the biggest companies very well known). Alongwith employer's letter, I've also attached my marriage certificate and children's birth certificates to show ties to the countries. Moreover, I've a good travel history with my visits to USA & Europe and Turkey. It took around a month and I received a letter of refusal stating;
- Travel History
- Purpose of Visit
- Ties to country

After thoroughly reading the forum threads, I opted for GCMS notes and then analysis which states that none of the above reasons are the actual reasons of refusal. The lawyer said that the notes 3 & 4 cannot be retrieved based on some ATIP laws article 16(1)(c) and article 13(1)(a) which prevents the case to be thoroughly analysed. It also states that some pages including data on Page-26 has not been shown. My refusal letter never shows a ban on entry or any other such restrictions.
Can anybody briefly discuss the matter why the visa has been refused?

Hi,

IMO, you had missed out on submitting a whole bunch of documents. That would explain why you were refused.

Can you re-post:
1. The list of documents which you had submitted

2. How long you had intended to visit? Was your visit purely for business or some tourism included?

3. How long have you been employed at your current employment?

4. What ties can you prove to your home country: Property/land ownership or a lease/rent contract? Financial situation?

5. When did you visit the US, Europe (I'm assuming you visited Schengen countries)? Purpose of those visits? For how long?


You may want to post the GCMS Notes (last section in the notes) after deleting any personal references

Thank you so much for your prompt response. Here are answers to your questions:

1- My employment details, letter from employer stating sponsorship (I am part of a government organization), invitation letter, etc...

2- Visit was intended purely to attend the conference i.e 4 days event and 3 days traveling

3- I am here for last 2 years

4- I can provide all the details but I didn't submit those because it was totally sponsored. For reapply, I'll reconsider submitting these documents on ur advise.

5- I've visited to US and Europe within past year (2016 US & 2017 Europe).

Please let me know pages of the GCMS notes so that I can post it.

You can post the text/notes made by the visa officer on the last page. It will be a paragraph

You have to either type the notes, or upload the image of the notes to some image capture site like https://imgbb.com/, then get the image's URL and put it in between IMG tags:

You can post just the last two pages of the GCMS notes through private message to me.

Alternatively, as it seems like the GCMS notes won't help much, you may want to post the list of documents, etc if you intend to reapply shortly
