Hi every one,
my brother is 22 years old. He's suffering from severe depression and he lives alone with my mom.
Is it possible that I can get visa for him with my sponsorship so he can come here and live with me for couple of months? Doctors back in Iran couldn't help him and treated him as a lab mouse. So I want doctors here to see him. I have a study permit here.
Thank you so much

No - you can't sponsor him. However he can certainly apply for a visitor visa to come to Canada temorarily as a visitor. Note that he will not be covered by the health care system. If he wants to take advantage of any health care in Canada, he will either have to pay for it out of his own pocket or purchase travel insurance to cover the costs (note that travel insurance policies typically only cover emergencies).

What Scylla said is dead accurate though, that's mainly the options you got. Any physical or mental disabilities makes no matter in coming to Canada. Either he can come under visitor status with your mother, pay out of pocket for medical expenses or remain where they are and try and find other options to help.

But he's financially dependent to my mom..

To be approved for a visitor visa - your brother will have to demonstrate that he has sufficient funds to pay for this trip. If he doesn't have any money of his own, then either you or your mother will have to show that you have enough funds to pay for his trip. Again, any health care he receives while in Canada will not be free. So either you or your mother will have to pay for any care he receives.

You cannot "sponsor" him for a visitor visa. He will have to apply on his own. However you can provide a bank statement (or other evidence) as part of this application to show that you will cover his expenses.
