I'm still finding my way around the whole process (Outland spousal app via LVO), so forgive me for asking a basic question.

I just wonder if Brits have to send passports to London Visa Office?

I've had a look at the FAQ link on the London Outland thread but not sure. I've read about COPR but wondered if something gets added to the passport?

We've only just filed our application so there's a long way to go!

Thanks

No we don't have to send our passports to London. .

Thanks Taffy. Back in 2007 my hubby had something pasted in to his passport at LVO when he became a PR.

We were chatting about the process and he asked me to check it out because he was convinced I'd eventually have to do the same thing.

Prior to Dec 2011, everyone had to send their passports to receive the visa counterfoil, even if they were visa-exempt.

Thank you. I'd read "PPR - exempt" on people's timelines and that explains why!

It's so good to be able to ask a simple question and not feel stupid! :o
