HI
I need help and expert advise. My dad leaves back home since passing of my mum he has no one to look after him. His is a retired person. He does has heart condition but on medication and has been stable so far. How can get him to Canada so that I can stop traveling very too often to go and see him. I do not have any relatives or siblings as well leaving near him to care of him.
Kindly give me a best possible solution.
It was hard for me to keep my days to make it to the renewal of my PR and I want him here now so that I can stop this moving up and down.

If you are not working in Canada at this time - the only choice is a visitor visa.

If you are working in Canada and meet the low income cut off - you can sponsor him for a super visa (bascially a long visitor visa). Note that he will have to pass a medical to be approved and you'll need to purchase insurance to cover emergency health care while he's in Canada.

The process for sponsoring PR is long and complicated (you need to meet the minimum income for three years in a row from Canadian sources, CIC is accepting very few applications each year, procesing takes many years, etc.). So either the regular or super visitor visa are the only realistic short term options.

You could also try applying for his PR under the Humanitarian and Compassionate route instead of through parents sponsorship program.

I've seen successful cases of this where 1 parent passes away and can show no one left to care for remaining one and their life would be difficult in home country by themselves.

Thanks guys
Currently he has come with me on a normal visitor visa .For the super visa he may not qualify as Sycall has said he needs to go through a medical test and also as I said he has a heart condition he will be rejected entry into Canada on that ground. Further to that I do not meet the minimum low income as I have been travelling a lot back home.
Also the Humanitarian Basis the Medical conditions remains the same. Like I said he is retired man and leaving on a rent house on top.
In this case how can I present my case to CIC that I need to stop this travelling if they can allow him to come and stay with me as this is also affecting my family life as well. The length of the case is not the issue provided his case gets accepted and I can then settle down with the family.

It sounds like H&C is your only option.
