I have just obtained the student permit and I would like to know if there is any limit in the computer equipment that is entered into the country or if there are in the airlines. I use a laptop with its docker and 4 24-inch monitors

No limit on the airlines (you simply may have to pay extra) but doesn't seem worth the effort and expense. You're probably better off buying monitors when you get to Canada and then selling them when you return to your home country.

Electronics, especially PC components are cheaper in the American region. At the airport if you are required to pay the duty then it's not worth bringing to to Canada. especially about panel screens/monitors.
I felt dumb when I did this many years ago. : ))
I had to pay the duty even though the screens were used for over an year. These officials are just to make the foreigners pay so extra money flows in. I understand how precious our setups are to us. if you are taking your graphic cards and processors, then it's fine.

Congrats and GL

Are they worth the effort? Compare it to other appliances, i mean are you checking in a T.V for example? Think twice and see below thread for more information, i think since those are used no duty required just do not declare them on the customs forms as Goods those are personal use, not new not for sale.
